Hunting Lodge is the sound of idiot bearded children channeling scum-prog (on the selling room floor); a twitching energy of free-form skronk, swaggering hi-life strut and anthemic prog concentrated into a sustained sugar tantrum of joyous macho excess – reclaiming pop for men with more body hair than sense. Energy Czar was engineered by John Stevens (responsible for Electric Wizard’s massive “Dopethrone”), mastered at ear shredding levels by Weasel Walter of the Flying Luttenbachers helped along by the skronk saxing of Terry Edwards (Lydia Lunch / Gallon Drunk).
